Ted Leonsis
So me and my 5 friends decide to go to the Washington Capitals game. We’re running a few minutes late so we’re running in the Verizon Center to get to will call. We pick up our tickets and go to the check-in. As I hand my ticket, someone walks up to me and hands me 6 tickets. I first look at the tickets and I see they each cost 120$. I look up and it’s Ted Leonsis (owner of the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards). First reaction, I give him a hug. He asks me, “Where are you all sitting?” I told him that we were sitting up top and he goes, “No your not, take mine.” Told him thanks and move aside. My buddy, who confronts him next, goes, “Ted! Thanks! So you’re going to change the name of the Wizards right?” Ted goes, “I just give you 6 great seats and that’s what you say to me haha?” Such a goon.
Great time Ted, appreciate the amazing seats!
